Kevin Aleman ("we," "us," or "our") built G.A.T.E.S. as a free, ad-supported game. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our app.

G.A.T.E.S. does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to play. However, third-party services integrated into the app may collect certain data automatically:

• Device Identifiers: Advertising identifiers (IDFA) may be collected by our advertising partner to serve relevant ads. You can limit ad tracking in your device settings.
• Usage and Product Interaction Data: We use Firebase Analytics to understand how players interact with the game, such as which features are used, session length, and gameplay patterns. This data is collected anonymously and is not linked to your identity.
• Advertising Data: Our advertising partner, Google AdMob, may collect data related to ad interactions (impressions, clicks) to serve and measure advertisements.
• Crash Data: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash logs and diagnostic information to improve app stability. This data is not linked to your identity.
• Performance Data: Firebase Performance Monitoring collects data about app launch times, network latency, and other performance metrics to help us improve the app experience. This data is not linked to your identity.

How We Use Information

The information collected is used for the following purposes:

• Analytics: To understand gameplay patterns and improve game balance, features, and user experience.
• Advertising: To display ads within the app. AdMob may use device identifiers and advertising data to serve targeted advertisements.

You can also purchase the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase to eliminate interstitial advertisements.

In-App Purchases

Children's Privacy

G.A.T.E.S. is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The third-party services we use (Firebase, AdMob) are configured to comply with applicable children's privacy regulations.

Data Retention

Analytics and crash data are retained according to the default retention policies of Firebase (typically 14 months for analytics data). Advertising data is managed by Google according to their data retention policies.

Data Security

We value your trust and rely on industry-standard security practices provided by our third-party service providers (Google Firebase, Apple) to protect any collected data.
